I found UX design through an unconventional path. With BA of Art from University of California, Berkeley and 5 years of customer experience with several tech companies including Google, I learned to combine my empathetic approach with my creativity.
My approach for design is to always capture the needs and pain points from the users in every project. I love to conduct contextual inquiries and have a 1-on-1 conversation with the users to extract their emotions and asks. This way, I can always craft the optimal solutions just for them. For me, design is not just about problem solving, but to create delightful experiences for all users.
